Our Opportunity to you

Reporting to the Head of Allied Health, the Clinical Manager – Southern region will ensure all of Remedy Healthcare’s community services in VIC, SA, WA and NSW are delivered in accordance with our clinical governance framework for high-quality services that result in exceptional client satisfaction.

 

This is a full-time, contracted role (12-month maternity leave cover) with a hybrid working model, based in our Spring St Melbourne Office. 

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring effective management of recruitment, retention, orientation, performance management and productivity of staff
  • Growing and leading a community-based workforce to deliver allied health services
  • Developing, managing, and monitoring annual budgets and strategies in collaboration with the executive team Supporting and coaching team leaders and field staff to achieve key performance indicators in line with strategic requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication mechanisms to keep staff informed of organizational, local and program specific issues/developments
  • Ensuring high quality services are delivered by our employed clinicians (and any subcontractors)
  • Actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement, industry knowledge and awareness
  • Travel will be required at times due to the service area

To be successful in this role you will be an inspirational leader that drives positive change, displaying and encouraging tenacity and resilience through development and coaching of your team members.

 

Your business development and people management skills will enable you to effectively manage stakeholder relationships within the broader healthcare system, including referrers and funders.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Essential:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Allied Health
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Strong change management experience
  • Demonstrated people management and workforce planning experience
  • Proven business growth and continuous improvement experience

Desirable:

  • Experience within a commercial clinical environment
  • Community healthcare experience
