Your New Role Looks Like This:
Our Client Relationship Managers are responsible for supporting clients that don’t have capacity to manage their own financial and legal affairs (financial administration). Client Relationship Managers work with these clients to understand their individual needs and circle of support and establish an annual budget that meets the needs of a client. Supported by a Senior Client Relationship Manager, the Client Relationship Manager will also provide updates to State-based tribunals on their client, which may include appearing in personal or virtually.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Arrange and attend client meetings and client visits
- Complete the annual Client Review process and the annual budget/investment review
- Take responsibility for decisions made on behalf of clients, including ensuring they are in line with Delegation Framework and all relevant SMEs are consulted as part of the decision-making process
- Effectively manage the end-to-end client relationship and actively support the implementation of processes to ensure key stakeholders associated with the client are engaged appropriately and adequately
- Ensure appropriate structures are implemented to protect client assets
About You:
- Experience working directly with clients, ideally people with a disability or mental illness
- Strong VCAT Experience
- Experience working with IT systems and maintaining files and records
- Ability to write clear and coherent reports
- Sound understanding of financial principles, including investment approaches and asset classes
- Capacity to acquire knowledge relating to the administration of trusts, and financial administration legislation in all jurisdictions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to use communication to build relationships
- Previous experience with client visits (preferred but not essential)
