An exciting and fulfilling opportunity as a Client Engagement Specialist is now available with our Mental Health Team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our MindStep clients providing a seamless onboarding experience ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and valued, with an emphasis on laying the foundation for a positive, timely and impactful relationship with our service. Our MindStep program uses low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (LiCBT), which is a talking therapy that can help individuals manage their problems by changing the way they think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression. 

 

This full-time, Melbourne based role, offers hybrid flexibility with 3 in-office days at our Spring Street office and 2 days working from home.

 

What your role looks like:

  • Intake responsibilities including outbound contact with referred clients experiencing mental health challenges, scheduling appointments and program enrolment
  • Management of inbound phone/email enquiries
  • General administrative support to the MindStep & Healing Minds Team Leader as well as the Partnerships & Operations Coordinator 
  • Proactively work with internal stakeholders to enhance opportunities for cross-referrals

 

About You:

  • Experience in a client-facing/ phone-based customer service role is essential 
  • Experience using Genesys and Salesforce would be highly valued
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and professionally with people affected by common mental health challenges
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport on first interaction
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with others to ensure a seamless client experience
