Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

The Change Manager will be fundamental to assisting Australian Unity reach its strategic goals and growth objectives that will transform its Home Health and Residential Aged Care business. The Change Manager will work on various strategic initiatives within Australian Unity’s Home Health business that support its vision to be Australia’s leading provider of integrated health care solutions for those who choose to live and age well, and that help it scale to meet growing demand.

 

Working on a large program of work, the Change Manager will champion and be familiar with contemporary and innovative approaches to change and transformation. Specifically, they will partner with change initiators and business leaders to enable sustained change that maximises benefits realisation and supports our ways of working.

 

The role will involve providing strategic, tactical and operational change management support, taking a transformation view of change, providing actionable insights as well as optimal sequencing and integration of change activities. Additionally, application of a change receiver lens to ensure customer and employee focused change (rather than initiative focused change) as part of the way we deliver change will be integral to the success of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Partner with initiative owners and business leaders to shape change management efforts and develop approached and plans aligned to the size and complexity of the associated project/initiative/implementation ensuring:
  • Change risk is assessed
  • Change readiness assessments are conducted
  • Actionable and targeted change management plans are developed
  • Customer and employee impacts are identified
  • Change is measured and embedded
  • Work with various stakeholders within the business such as; HR, Home Health, IT System Owners, Group Technology and Learning & Development Specialists to formulate particular plans and activities to support a people centered implementation
  • Support the Head of Change Management in further enhancing change reporting, enabling use in strategic and tactical decision making
  • Implementation of human centered design and agile principles and practices
  • Coach and support less experienced employees in delivering best practice change management interventions
