Your New Role Looks Like This:
At Australian Unity, we’re proud to connect investors with opportunities that make a real impact. Our Select Income Fund (SIF) is a leading contributory mortgage fund, and we’re looking for an Account Manager to play a pivotal role in growing its reach across wholesale investors and financial planning networks.
You will build trusted relationships, expand our investor base, and drive growth in one of Australia’s most dynamic asset classes: private credit, property and real estate, and construction finance.
As Account Manager, you will:
- Grow & maintain investor relationships – Manage existing investors while identifying and onboarding new wholesale investors and financial advisers nationally.
- Drive equity raising – Lead equity raising initiatives across wholesale investor channels and financial planning networks.
- Shape strategy – Develop and execute sales and distribution plans, investor events, and high-quality marketing collateral to support business growth.
- Be a product expert – Build a deep understanding of the Select Income Fund and broader market trends across private credit and property to position the fund competitively.
- Collaborate across AU – Work with Mortgages, Funds Management, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Operations and Investor Services teams to deliver seamless investor experiences.
- Deliver impact – Contribute to new product development, enhance client journeys, and represent AU at industry events and conferences.
Key responsibilities Include:
- Identify and convert equity prospects across internal and external investor networks.
- Develop strong, lasting relationships with wholesale investors, financial advisers, and industry stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate client data, pipeline reporting, and performance tracking through Salesforce and internal systems.
- Represent the Select Income Fund at industry conferences, forums, and investor events.
- Enhance customer experience by streamlining processes, improving communications, and shaping investor interactions.
- Drive targeted product marketing activities including EDM campaigns, sponsorships, PR initiatives, and website development.

About You:
- RG146 (required)
- Finance / Commerce / Marketing undergraduate degree (postgraduate viewed favourably)
- 7 - 10 years’ industry experience in a similar role
- Market experience and/or knowledge:
- Investor relations or sales experience (required)
- Real estate industry (preferred)
- Financial services industry (preferred)
- Salesforce experience (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong sales skills, including product/market analysis, building the story and capturing the attention of investors in delivery of message, plus a proven ability to close
