Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care

Are you an experienced support worker passionate about helping elderly people live independently in their own homes? We are looking for skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team and provide high-quality care to our elderly customers (65+ years).

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence with your own car - sorry but we can't accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles
• Have paid experience as a Personal Care Worker/Assistant in Nursing and/or hold a relevant aged care qualification 
• Live near Mackay to service Mackay and surrounding area 
• Available to work across Monday to Saturday between 6am - 6pm
• Commitment to our awesome paid 2-week Brilliant@Basics training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow, and be supported)

What this role offers:

Available Roles: Personal Carers with 12+ months experience and/or aged care qualification

Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time

Contract hours: 20-40 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts

Hourly Rate: $34.77 - $34.93 per hour + super + 92c km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Personal Care: Helping our clients with showering, dressing, medication reminders, and mobility support
• Domestic Support: Providing assistance with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping - this plays a big part of your role
• Companionship: Being a friendly face and offering emotional support to clients – you’ll become someone they look forward to seeing!
• Transporting & Social Support: Taking clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, allowing them to live their best life
