We are seeking 2 people to join our team in the following roles:
Chef on a casual basis with availability required between 10am to 6pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week; and a
Food Service Assistant on a casual basis with availability required between 3pm to 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

The roles
We are not only focused on providing exceptional care to our residents but to provide a safe, secure, friendly, and supportive environment for our staff members.
As the Chef you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Hospitality Teams while preparing resident meals to the highest quality and maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
What you will be doing as a Chef:
- Preparing nutritious meals, snacks, and desserts to the highest standards
- Maintaining hygiene standards within the kitchen and adhering to health and safety procedures this may include clean duties such as washing dishes and maintaining food safety programs
- Developing relationships with residents and their families, providing companionship at mealtimes, and seeking feedback on menu improvements
- Working with a friendly team of Cooks, Kitchen Hands and Food Service Assistants
As a Food Service Assistant, you will work as part of a team to provide hospitality services to all residents, including assisting with the efficient preparation and delivery of quality meals.
What you will be doing as a Food Service Assistant:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals
- Cleaning support within the kitchen as required
- Catering to special dietary and nutritional needs of residents
- Interacting with residents and providing person centered care
About you
We are looking for an experienced Chef and Food Service Assistant with the following qualities and skills:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery for the chef position and no formal qualifications required for the Food Service Assistant position
- A strong customer focus
- Experience in a similar role within Aged Care or a commercial kitchen would be advantageous
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements/modified meals beneficial
- Willing to obtain a NDIS Clearance Check if successful
- Fully vaccinated for 2026 Influenza and COVID-19 (1 dose) or willing to obtain one
