Casual Registered Nurse

Our Better Together model creates a sense of connection and community for residents through the creation of smaller households with higher staff-to-resident ratios to enure the best in care is delivered consistently.

We are currently looking for a Casual Registered Nurse with flexible availability to join our team at St Patricks Green Aged Care at Kogarah to work PM and Night shifts. Offering above award hourly rates with the possibility of transitioning into a Permanent contract.

Come and join our Clinical and Care team where we are leading the industry in driving our award winning ‘Better Together’ model and raising the quality of life for our residents and their families. 

What does your new role look like?

• Delivering individualised clinical based nursing care to our residents
• Leading and mentoring care and clinical team members
• Conducting nursing assessments and developing care plans specific to the resident needs
• Providing an outstanding level of nursing advice and support to the resident and their relatives
• Developing supportive working relationships with fellow Nurses and treating Health Professionals to maintain the highest standards of care

About You:

As well as being an accomplished healthcare professional, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm and Honest.  You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent clinical care for our residents, whilst effectively leading and supporting a team.

• Minimum of 2 years experience workng as a Registered Nurse 
• AHPRA Registration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (AN-ACC) is highly regarded
• Experience in leading Care team members whilst creating an engaging and supportive work culture
• Proficiency using various systems, including online care management programs
• Available to work on a Casual basis, including afternoon (2pm to 10pm) and NIGHT shifts 
• Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful
• Fully vaccinated for Influenza 2025 and COVID 19 (2 Doses)
