Walmsley Aged Care is a purpose built 120 bed Aged Care residence that provides state of the art care utilising our Better Together model, that opened in November 2022.

This new property includes a Café, private dining facilities, a Hair and Beauty Salon, a multi faith room, and a gym to help with rehabilitation, all contained within our unique household living model for 16 to 19 residents.

 

Your New Role

As a member of the Walmsley Aged Care team, you will get to join a team who are united in providing exceptional care to our residents and support to their families.
We are seeking a PCA/Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a casual basis

 

What Your New Role Looks Like: 

  • Providing a range of support and personal care services to our residents
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within our team, with our customers and family members
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our residents safe
  • Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful activities and assist in their delivery 
  • Ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction at all times 
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families and volunteers 
  • Assisting with care plans and programs 
  • Ensuring all reporting requirements are efficiently completed   

 

 

About You

Does this sound like you?

 

  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work across various shifts across seven-day roster (set days are available)
  • You hold Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support and a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health etc
  • A current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable vehicle 
  • All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster and must have received an annual flu vaccination
