Home Care Support Worker

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Inverell area including Ashford, Auburn Vale, Brodies Plain, Bundarra, Delungra, Gilgai, Long Plain, Rob Roy, Stanborough, Tingha, Warialda and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month required)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! 

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts

Your Role

As a valued member of the team, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes.

• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting & mobility support
• Medication assistance
• Social support, transport and companionship
• Promoting independence, dignity & wellbeing

As an experienced carer, you’ll provide essential domestic assistance alongside personal support, making a meaningful difference in client’s lives every day.
