About the Role 

As our Maintenance Officer & Mini Bus Driver, you’ll be responsible for keeping our beautiful retirement community in top shape and helping residents access local shops and community events via our 14-seater bus. Located in the heart of Hunters Hill, The Heritage features 42 stylish apartments and shared spaces like a library, billiards room, and community centre.

 

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Performing general maintenance tasks; painting, basic plumbing, lighting, air conditioning, tiling, and more
  • Weekly mini bus driving for resident outings and shopping trips
  • Maintaining shared spaces and outdoor areas to a high standard
  • Managing bins and ensuring cleanliness
  • Reporting hazards and ensuring safety compliance
  • Providing friendly service to residents, staff, and contractors

 

 

About you

  • Previous maintenance/handyperson experience
  • Light Rigid (LR) licence or willing to obtain (we’ll cover the cost!) 
  • COVID vaccination, plus willingness to complete First Aid/CPR training (also covered)
  • Ability to work independently and take pride in your work
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn asset management software
  • Safety-conscious with a resident-first mindset
