Entry Level Domestic Assistant (Casual)

We're looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who have a passion for helping others and supporting their local community. No previous aged care experience is required – just a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of older Australians.

We're especially interested in candidates who can speak Italian, Greek, or Arabic to help us better connect with our diverse customers.

About You

  • Live in and can support clients in the Greensborough and surrounding areas
  • Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and have access to your own reliable vehicle (no international licences or shared vehicles)
  • Previous cleaning, hospitality, retail, customer service, or community support experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with availability to work 6 hours per day between 9:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Commitment to our 2 week paid induction and training program when you start
  • Passionate about supporting older people to remain independent in their own homes (this is not disability or residential facility care)

 

What We Offer

  • $34.80 - $36.23 per hour + super
  • Paid travel time + $1.38/km allowance

Your Role

As a valued member of the team, you'll provide practical support that helps older Australians maintain their independence and quality of life at home.

  • Domestic cleaning and household assistance
  • Laundry and light housekeeping duties
  • Unassisted grocery shopping and errands
  • Meal preparation assistance
  • In-home companionship
  • Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
