We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team in Glen Waverley on a Part Time basis 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) from 9:30am – 3:00pm.  

What does your new role look like? 

• Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful activities and assist in their delivery 

• Ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction at all times 

• Communicating effectively with residents, families and volunteers 

• Assisting with care plans and programs 

• Continually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the holistic needs of our residents. 

• Ensuring all reporting requirements are efficiently completed   

About you:

Does this sound like you? 

• Certification in Lifestyle and Leisure - highly desireable

• Experience in Aged Care, Community Living or Health Services 

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills 

• A person-centred focus and commitment to providing a high level of service 

• Proven initiative and the ability to think outside the box when tailoring activities. 

• Experience working with people living with Dementia or Alzheimer's highly regarded 

• Availability to work Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30am to 3pm 

• Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful 

• Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses)
