Care Partner (Medically Endorsed) – Residential Aged Care

Roster: Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1500
Pay Rate: $38.97p/h + Super

About the Role

The Care Assistant will be responsible for delivering daily living assistants, medication administration and specialised care to meet the diverse care needs of our customers. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, and continence care.
  • Administering oral medication and assisting with dietary requirements.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to Care employees.
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting observations.
  • Providing emotional and social support to residents and their families.
  • Upholding dignity, choice, and respect in all interactions.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Diplloma/Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role within an aged care setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to Aged Care Quality Standards and safe work practices.
  • Medically endorsed to perform the duties of the role.
  • Commitment to work Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1500
