About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Home Health team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and customer reimbursements.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients, you’ll help ensure payments are processed efficiently, accounts payable records are accurate, and enquiries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing supplier invoices and customer reimbursements accurately and within agreed payment terms

Completing supplier statement and accounts payable reconciliations

Liaising with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve payment issues

Monitoring accounts payable service levels, performance measures and risks, escalating issues where required

Supporting month-end activities, including reconciliations and cash flow reporting

Managing enquiries received through shared accounts payable mailboxes and call queues

Reviewing data integrity across accounts payable and ERP systems

Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with internal controls and audit requirements

Contributing to process improvements and keeping procedures, work instructions and supporting documentation up to date
About You
You’re a highly organised and detail-oriented accounts payable professional who takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work. You’re comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate confidently with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders.
You will bring:

Previous experience in accounts payable, finance operations or a similar transactional finance role

Experience processing invoices and completing supplier statement or accounts payable reconciliations

Strong accuracy, data-entry and time-management skills

Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with confidence learning new systems and databases

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities

Clear written and verbal communication skills
-
A customer-focused approach and the ability to build professional stakeholder relationships

The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

A commitment to confidentiality, internal controls and compliance requirements

Experience in aged care, Home Care Packages, the Commonwealth Home Support Program or Support at Home would be highly regarded
-
A relevant qualification in business, finance or a related discipline would be advantageous
