Home Care Support Worker

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You

• Live in and can support our customers in the Cairns and surrounding areas 
• Hold an Australian Driver’s Licence and own car (no international licence/shared vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day within the hours of 7am – 6pm, ideally across 3–4 weekdays (some weekend rosters available for experienced Carers)
• Able to complete our paid 2-week training program 
• Seeking in-home aged care work (not disability or facility-based care)

What We Offer

• Open to entry-level and experienced carers
• $31.13 – $34.93 per hour + super
• Paid travel time + $1.38/km allowance
• Permanent Contract hours:
• New Entrants: 20 - 30 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Experienced Carers (12+ months experience): 20 – 50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts

Your Role

As a valued team member, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives every day.

• Entry-level: Cleaning, laundry, meal prep and household support
• Experienced: Personal care (showering, toileting, medications) plus social support
• Most importantly provide companionship and brighten someone’s day
