We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative Clinical Senior Scheduling Coordinator to lead a team in delivering efficient, high-quality schedules for our allied health and nursing services. In this hands-on role, you’ll guide and coach Scheduling Coordinators, apply best-practice prioritisation, and optimise processes to ensure the right care is delivered at the right time. Your leadership will play a key role in improving customer outcomes and shaping our new operating model.

 

This dynamic, fast-paced role involves managing shifting priorities, solving scheduling challenges, and ensuring the right people are in place for optimal service delivery. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader to influence change, foster engagement, and drive continuous improvement.

 

This full-time role offers hybrid flexibility with 3 in-office days at Aspley, Oxley or the Sunshine Coast - your choice! 

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach Scheduling Coordinators to deliver efficient clinical schedules
  • Manage workforce planning, triaging, referral reviews, and scheduling changes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support rostering and service delivery
  • Oversee leave management, error reporting, and compliance with scheduling guidelines
  • Use data to monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate third-party clinical providers when internal capacity is unavailable
  • Support team training, onboarding, and development
  • Contribute to after-hours rostering and on-call support as needed
  • Ensure high-quality, customer-focused scheduling within clinical scopes and funding guidelines.
  • Promote safety, quality, and compliance across all scheduling practices

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in scheduling, rostering, logistics or other coordination roles 
  • Clinical or aged care experience is not required - we are open to other industries such as logistics or transport to name a few! 
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Prior experience leading, coaching & developing a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Empathy and a customer-focused approach
  • Proven experience with adhering to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
