Our Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise scale initiatives across networking, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity. You’ll own the full project lifecycle from business case development through to execution and operational handover ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and strategically aligned. While you’ll support a broad portfolio of enterprise technology projects, your initial focus will be a critical integration program which follows the acquisition of a new business.
In this high-impact role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, influencing direction, scope, and outcomes through strong governance, proactive risk management, and commercial discipline. You’ll also play a key role in uplifting delivery capability by reinforcing execution discipline, risk management, mentoring teams, and embedding a culture of accountability and performance.
Accountabilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream technology projects and programs - from business case development through to operational handover
- Develop and manage integrated project plans that align with strategic objectives, balance competing priorities, and drive coordinated execution across delivery streams
- Own the RAID process, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish and execute robust change management strategies, aligned to business impacts, supported by fit-for-purpose communication and training plans
- Drive project governance, coordinating working groups, steering committees, and stakeholder forums with clear, outcome-driven reporting and presentations
- Manage project budgets, resource allocations, and delivery schedules, ensuring transparency and accountability across all aspects of performance
- Lead vendor and partner engagement, aligning external delivery with scope, quality, and compliance expectations
- Monitor delivery performance, resolve delivery blockers, and drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and actionable insights

About You:
To be successful in the role you will be an accomplished delivery leader able to demonstrate the following experience:
- 10+ years’ experience delivering technology projects and programs in complex, compliance-driven environments such as financial services, healthcare, or other regulated sectors with at least 5 years leading large, multi-stream technology initiatives within complex matrixed environments
- Proven experience delivering complex platform transformation programs
- Confident leading from strategy through to execution, ensuring delivery stays aligned with business priorities and is executed with pace, discipline, and precision
- Ability to balance hands-on delivery leadership with strategic stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives at once and stay balanced in fast-moving delivery environment
- Skilled in navigating matrix environments, aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
- Strong commercial acumen, with hands-on experience in budget management, resource planning, and vendor engagement (across time-and-materials and outcome-based models)
- Well-versed in project governance, with the ability to influence, engage, and report confidently at senior and executive levels
- Known for solving complex problems, managing through ambiguity, and maintaining focus on business outcomes under pressure
- Degree in IT, Business, or a related field from a recognised tertiary institution
- Proficient in structured delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP
- Experience working in a managed service environment with a cross section of teams who are based on and off-shore
- Experience using Wrike to manage project execution, resource allocation, and reporting is highly regarded
